Best untitled tag game Settings

FOV, third person, camera shake, NTB outlines, and the mobile auto-jump trap.

Best Settings

untitled tag game hides a full options panel behind Q → Options, or the in-game page utg://settings. The recode (place 14044547200) is a parkour-tag game. Camera shake, speedlines, and auto-jump fight that kit. This page is the settings pass you should do before you grind movement. Binds stay on controls. After you can see the map, read getting started and redeem codes.

There is no official “pro preset” from _create. Community clips agree on a handful of values because they reduce noise, not because they add walkspeed. Copy the intent, then tweak distance and FOV to your screen.

Open the panel

On keyboard, press Q, then Options. Mobile uses the on-screen menu button, then Options. Console uses the Menu / Start stack. You can also type utg://settings in the in-game browser. Changes apply immediately. You do not restart the place.

If the panel is empty, you are on the 2021 Legacy place. Leave and join recode 14044547200. Settings below describe recode.

Camera: third person, FOV, tilt

Third person is a checkbox. V or Z toggles the same camera without opening the menu. Most parkour players leave third person on so they can see ledges, swing bars, and the person they are about to tag. First person is still useful for the last half-second of a tag: the click is melee range, and a huge FOV in first person shows more of the body you need to hit.

A common clip recommendation is:

  • Third person on, distance around 5.0–5.5, shoulder distance around 2.0
  • Invert third person only if you want the left shoulder
  • Instant view switch on so V/Z does not animate
  • Third person camera effects off so Full Tilt does not bob the chase cam

Field of view should sit near 120. Higher FOV shows more of Crossroads and Glass Houses. Extra-FOV / Fun sliders that push the camera past a sane range can invert the world; if your screen flips, you overcooked FOV, not a virus.

Full Tilt should be Off for most players. A camera that rolls with every slide hides the next vault lip. If you keep a little tilt, set Full Tilt smoothing to 100% so rotation tilt dies. Camera shake intensity should be 0. Tagging, rolling, and bomb explosions already move the frame; extra shake hides the No Tag Back shield.

First person transparency around 0.4–1.0 is taste. At 1.0 you do not see your own arms. At 0.4 you keep a silhouette. Either is legal. Neither changes tag range.

Display: see the chase, not the fireworks

Turn off (or disable) the toys that paint over geometry:

  • Disable speedlines at max velocity
  • Disable ragdolls from death and tag effects
  • Disable others’ tag effects, and yours if the flash hides a peasant
  • Disable rewards / coins / distance pop-ups while you are learning routes
  • Disable shadows if the lobby is dark or the laptop is hot

Leave No Tag Back visuals enabled. That outline is how you know a runner cannot be swapped for the next 3–3.5 seconds. Turning it off to “clean the HUD” is how you waste a streak. Details: No Tag Back.

Highlights mode should stay Full or Outlines only so you still read a body through a Glass Houses pane. Tag cooldown alert as Visual & Sound until your click timing is automatic. Role change visuals as Full or Text only so Chaos does not surprise you with a freezer prompt you never read.

Hide your trail in first person if the ribbon covers lips. Keep other players’ trails visible while you learn — a Pride trail from codes is a free path recorder. Leaderboard size is comfort. Tagfeed size and log limit (max 8) are comfort. Do not hide the tagfeed until you can parse a 40-player Classic without it.

Mobile: kill auto-jump every join

Mobile auto-jump resets to on when you join. It steals vaults and turns every stair into a hop. Turn it off at the start of every session. Set mobile tap mode to tag. Joystick region and height at 100 if the stick feels tiny. Third person on mobile is even more valuable than on PC because your thumbs already cover the lower third of the screen.

Speedometer: Center or Bottom center if you are drilling rolls. Combined with the mid-screen NTB timer added 30 August 2026, you can see immunity and walkspeed without looking at a corner. Debug: show movement values if you are chasing the Roll Expert timing on achievements. Turn debug raycasts off in public lobbies; they are for private servers.

Audio and running control

Drop music volume if you cannot hear swing grabs. Keep parkour volume up. Wind can sit low. Emote volume is vanity.

Running control defaults to Invert: hold Shift to walk. That matches recode’s “W is run” design. Hold-to-run and Toggle exist if you came from another Roblox parkour title. Do not bind yourself into a walk in the middle of a Crown steal.

Keybinds themselves belong on controls. This page is the Options grid, not the keyboard.

A copyable starter preset

Use this as a first pass, then change distance and FOV only:

  1. Full Tilt Off
  2. Third person On, distance 5–5.5, instant view switch On
  3. FOV 120, camera shake 0, speedlines Off, ragdolls Off
  4. NTB visuals On (do not disable)
  5. Highlights Full, role change visuals Full or Text only
  6. Auto-jump Off on mobile, every join
  7. Speedometer Center while you learn rolls

Then go play. Settings do not replace a vault. They make the vault visible. After one public round, open movement and maps. If Crown still feels unfair, read the crown role page instead of cranking FOV to 140.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

What FOV should I use in untitled tag game?

Most recode clips sit near 120. Higher FOV shows more of the map. Fun/extra FOV sliders can flip the camera; if the world inverts, lower FOV, do not reinstall.

How do I turn on third person?

Check Third Person in Options, or press V or Z. Same toggle. Instant view switch makes the swap instant. See Controls for the rest of the camera binds.

Should I disable No Tag Back visuals?

No. Leave NTB outlines on so you can see the shield. The 30 August 2026 timer sits next to that icon. Full notes: No Tag Back.

Why does auto-jump keep turning back on?

On mobile, auto-jump resets when you join. Turn it off every session or it will steal vaults. PC does not have that trap.

Do settings make me faster?

No. They remove shake, speedlines, and tilt so you can time a roll. Speed still comes from movement and from not standing in No Tag Back.

Where is the settings menu?

Press Q then Options, or go to utg://settings. That is recode place 14044547200. Legacy 8365905206 is a different options set.
