Expired untitled tag game codes

An expired untitled tag game code is a string the shop still lets you type, then rejects. The box does not keep a museum of old events. If a YouTube thumbnail, a Discord pin from 2024, or a random mobile screenshot still shows SORRY for 750 coins, that grant is gone. This page exists so you can fail fast, close the shop, and go back to tagging.

Expired list

The official wiki (tagging.wiki) marks SORRY expired. It used to pay 750 coins, which is why it still circulates: it was the fattest public grant most players remember. It does not pay 750 now. It does not pay 1. It is dead.

Community aggregators also list the following as expired. Treat every row as a do-not-type list unless the in-game menu suddenly accepts it again, which almost never happens:

If you are copy-pasting from an old codes compilation video, you will hit several of these in a row. That is not a sign that the shop is broken. It is a sign the video is older than the recode’s current table.

Why codes die

untitled tag game is a live Roblox place, not a boxed single-player title. _create uses codes as timed drops: anniversary beats (HAPPY4YEARS is still active at the time of this writing), seasonal beats (HALLOWSISCOMING, MERRYTAGMAS, HAPPYHOLIDAYS), platform beats (ROBLOX_RTC), and one-off cosmetics (THEOTHERTAG, PRIDE). When the beat ends, the string is turned off so the next drop has a clean inbox.

Expiry is server-side. Reinstalling Roblox, switching from Desktop to Mobile, buying a private server, or joining a 10-player lobby instead of a 40-player lobby does not revive SORRY. Tagmin and Debug on a private server do not inject promo grants. VR versus Console does not matter. The account either claimed the code while it was live, or it missed the window.

Codes are also once per account. A live code you already redeemed behaves like an expired code in the UI. That is not listed in the table above, because the string is still valid for players who never claimed it. If THANKYOU fails on your main and works on a brand-new alt, your main already ate it.

Do not waste the attempt loop

Each failed redeem costs you a round you could have spent sliding into a tag. The failure loop looks like this:

1. You see SORRY on a 2024 thumbnail.
2. You open B then Codes, or utg://codes.
3. You paste, fail, add a space, fail, lowercase it, fail.
4. You look up a second aggregator that reprints the same dead row.
5. You miss a queue pop.

Stop at step 2. If the string is on this page, close the shop. If it is not on this page and not on the Codes Hub, treat it as unverified, not as a secret. Unverified codes are how phishing overlays sneak into Discord DMs. This wiki will not list a string we cannot source to tagging.wiki or the live menu.

CodeUpdate! and TipBoard are especially sticky because they look like system messages. They are not new patch keys. 4122 looks like a PIN. It is not your inventory PIN; untitled tag game does not use that as a redeem shortcut. frog and karell are short enough that people type them out of boredom. Save the boredom for a wallrun.

How to tell expired from mistyped

Use this split before you throw out a working code:

• Mistyped: the string is on the Codes Hub but your paste has a hidden space, wrong slash, or wrong case. /E FREE must keep the slash and the space. UPUPDOWNDOWNLEFTRIGHTLEFTRIGHTBASTART must stay one token. Fix the typing using How to Redeem Codes.
• Already claimed: the string is on the active table, your typing is perfect, and this account used it before. You are done.
• Expired: the string is on this page, or tagging.wiki marks it dead. You are done.
• Wrong place: you joined Legacy 8365905206 instead of recode 14044547200. Leave and join the current experience. The recode demo opened 26 December 2023 and dropped the [recode] name prefix on 24 March 2025.

Official wiki versus random lists

tagging.wiki is the official wiki. This site is a fan wiki. When the two disagree on expiry, tagging.wiki plus the in-game menu win. Aggregator sites reprint each other; that is how Murm and YOCHAT stay famous after they stop paying. Cross-check Discord (discord.gg/untitledtaggame) if a creator claims a brand-new code the same hour a patch drops. _create does not maintain a public Trello of upcoming strings, so a Trello screenshot is not proof of a live grant.

What to do instead of retrying dead codes

Spend the minute you would have spent on SORRY on a live 500-coin code from the active table, then on a public match. Coins still drop from wins, tags, and levels without any promo box. Trails and skins in the shop (B) are the sink. If you already own the cosmetics you want, skip the shop and go practice a slide-to-roll on a staircase, or run First to the Token if you still have SEEYOUSOON unclaimed.

Treat expired strings as history, not inventory. Screenshot collections of dead codes are souvenirs. They do not belong on your clipboard. Use that time to practice a vault line instead of retrying dead codes.
