untitled tag game treats events as temporary maps, modes, menus, and cosmetics on top of the recode. When the window closes, some toys stay in private servers or as misprints; tokens and utg:// pages usually leave. This page is the log. Track live ships on the Updates Hub. If you queued the 2021 place by mistake, read legacy vs recode first.

Gameplay you actually need during an event: getting started for voting, movement so a new tile does not dump your roll, maps for new tiles, gamemodes for new cards, special roles for King, Slasher, and bomb-like toys. Codes often piggyback on seasonal drops (Holiday 2025 shipped MERRYTAGMAS).

Combat Initiation (August 2024)

Window: 24–31 August 2024. _create added Initiation (hunters with lives versus a King) and CI Crossroads, a ruined, larger Crossroads. Combat Initiation’s side used Mellow Mansion and Haunted Mansion for an “Untitled Initiation” campaign, with Juggernaut and Slasher as bosses. UTG sold collab outfits (Bobby, Trooper, Mark, Vagabond, Jason). A limited Bloxxer server ran Initiation on a loop with a double-health King.

After the week, Initiation and CI Crossroads behaved like misprints / private-server toys rather than every public vote. Rank them C for ladder talk and S for the screenshot. If you want the boss, private-server the mode on CI Crossroads, then go back to Classic.

DOORS (October 2024)

Window: 25–31 October 2024 (cosmetics offsale 1 November; Courtyard remained playable). Collaboration with LSPLASH. UTG added Courtyard, a DOORS-styled map, plus shop outfits and tag effects (Figure, Rush, Seek, Crucifix, and friends). Playing a round on Courtyard awarded you’re it on the UTG side and the You’re It badge on DOORS (a revive and knobs). Private servers did not count for the DOORS reward.

Courtyard is a B-tier chase map with A-tier vibes: interiors, Seek energy, fewer Crossroads-style loops. Visit it for the badge if it still grants, not for map tier practice.

Slap Battles (November 2024)

Launched 15 November 2024. UTG added Slap For All plus Slaparena and Slappyroads. Everyone slaps; knockback scales as health drops; the mode told the lobby that everyone wins. Badges: One and done (one round) and Repeat offender (five). Slap Battles added the Untitled Tag Glove on their side (TOH obby / “IM A LOSER” skip).

Slap For All later left public voting and survives in private-server debug. Rank it C. It is a collab toy, not a tag identity. If a friend votes it, have fun, then vote Classic.

Hallows 2024

Halloween 2024 reskinned the main pool: Bloodburg, Cursed Canyon, Creepyroads, Creepypaths, Frightful Faction, Ghastly Houses, Wraith Rock, Rotten Arena, Spectre’s Stronghold, and friends. Most were costumes on existing skeletons (Bloxburg, Chaos Canyon, Crossroads, Glass Houses, Raven Rock, Rocket Arena). A battle-pass style utg://battlepass page existed for the window.

Rank advice: keep the parent’s map tier unless a wall actually moved. Bloodburg is still an A-tier city with worse lighting.

The Hunt: Mega Edition (March 2025)

Roblox event 13–24 March 2025 (broader Hunt calendar ran a bit longer). UTG was a participating place. Regular token: earn event cash (play rounds, tag, pick up cash pickups) and spend it — the vandilist / Guy loop. Mega token: first complete SpongeBob Tower Defense’s Mega Token, then find portal graffiti on votable maps, interact until a real portal opens, and finish the UTG Hunt story (Cash Capital / holding-cell jokes). Menu page: utg://thehunt. Announcement line: “First to the Token…”

Hunt maps and outfits were limited. After the event, tokens stopped; some cosmetics remained. If a YouTube guide still says to peel graffiti, check the date.

April Fools 2025 and 2026

2025 (1–7 April): flipping (look past the camera stop in the air), scribbled mode cards, a messy logo, soundtrack mixes, Toxic as a joke card (later a real mode), extra maps, a seven-day advent of outfits. Flipping left with the event and came back as a 2026 joke.

2026: flipping and joke cards returned, then disabled when the week ended. Tagpads were teased on Discord (23 March 2026 clip) and added 1 April 2026 as a real map tool (Craigville and others). Pads are not a joke anymore: they are why Craigville sits A on the map list. If a June 2026 revert yanked a related toy, pads may still be on the floor — look for the 3x3 with a wedge.

Halloween Spotlight 2025

Roblox Spotlight window 23 October – 3 November 2025, teased from 14 October on Discord (“INVITATION”). UTG’s quest used runes and keys via conduits, a storyline (Nothing Left Behind), and a menu page utg://imitation. Thumbnails iterated through INFEST / YOURS alt text. This is a platform event layered on UTG, not a new Classic rule. Play the quest during the window; after it, the imitation page 503s. The Spotlight window ended 3 November 2025, so utg://imitation is no longer a live objective — the embedded rune + key walkthrough on this page is an archive of that expired Halloween Spotlight quest, not a current hunt.

Holiday 2025

24 December 2025 – 1 January 2026. New maps in the vote, some private-server tiles, a new gamemode toy, versus bars (remaining-player HUD), and an advent calendar at utg://advent (five items, retroactive if you miss a day). Code MERRYTAGMAS granted coins. Titanis’ Reservoir moved toward a permanent rotation slot. Treat new holiday maps as seasonal until they survive a month in the main pool, then rank them on the map tier list.

How to play events without wrecking your mechanics

During a collab week, still vote Classic when you need reps. Event modes are for the badge, the token, and the screenshot. Keep runner and tagger habits; only swap your brain when the HUD says King, slap, or conduit. When the event ends, assume public voting is back to the gamemode tier snapshot. Private servers keep the museum.
