untitled tag game Special Roles Guide
Bomb, crown, freeze, infected, Chaos mix, and the collab bosses.
Once you can play runner and tagger in Classic, untitled tag game starts handing you named jobs. A tag still uses left click or a tap. The job decides whether that tag swaps, converts, or eliminates. This page is the kit list. Rules live in the gamemodes guide; ranks live on the gamemode tier list. Inputs live in movement and getting started.
Ghosts and other spectators (oof, dead) are not kits. They watch. Mid-round joins often spawn as the “losing” side: peasant, infected, chiller, hunter. Read the prompt on your HUD before you copy the last round.
Bomb
Bomb players hold a fuse. Tag a runner to swap the bomb onto them. When the timer hits zero, the holder explodes and leaves the round. The cycle repeats until one survivor remains (the survivor achievement path). Misprints include Hot Potato, Funny Bomb, RNG Bomb, and Subspace Bomb.
Play bomb like a tagger who is also a runner. You must arrive, not pose. A long juke that looks S-tier on Crossroads will kill you if the fuse is shorter than the fall swing. Pass into a crowd, then immediately become the runner you just created. Do not stare at the person you tagged during NTB.
Crown and Peasant
About 13% of the lobby spawn as crown; the rest are peasants. Peasants tag crowns to steal the role (swap). Crowns win by still wearing it when the timer ends (duration scales with lobby size, capped). If a crown resets or leaves, a random peasant inherits. Mid-round joins are peasants. Solo Crown misprints leave one crown; Guarded Crown adds knights who can hit peasants.
Crowns: hold space, not a statue. Take Glass Houses roofs and Rocket Arena pads only if you can name two exits. Peasants: cut the exit, do not parade the same zipline. Once you steal, your brain flips — you are now the keepaway player. Crown is S-tier on the gamemode list because this flip is the skill.
Infected (and Patient Zero)
One patient zero starts infected. Their tag converts a runner into infected; infected keep converting. Mid-round joins are infected. If patient zero leaves, there is no replacement — a real tell. Runners win on time; the horde wins if nobody is left unconverted.
Patient zero should cut mid and collapse clumps. Infected should cover different map lanes, not stack the same castle stairs. Runners should split and refuse the park pile. Mutant Infected and Medic Infected misprints add powers; the clutch is still “do not get isolated.” That clutch is why Infected is S-tier.
Freeze family: Freezer, Frozen, Chiller, Runner
Under half the lobby starts as freezers; the rest are runners. A freezer (or chiller) tag converts a runner into frozen. Frozen players are stuck, lose health over time, and deal extra knockback. A runner tag thaws them back to runner. If they decay to zero, they become a chiller and hunt. Mid-round joins are chillers. Frozen at the buzzer is not a win.
Freezers: freeze, then either guard the body or chain the next runner. Extra swings on a frozen body deal chip and delay the thaw. Runners: thaw is mandatory. A highlight often points you at frozen teammates — take it. Frozen: you can still shove. Stand in a doorway on Bloxburg and be a problem. Flame and Team Freeze misprints recolor the same loop. Freeze is A-tier: great objective, thaw trains can override a 1v1.
Chaos mix
Chaos pulls roles from the rest of the pool. You might be a bomb next to a crown next to a freezer next to a juggernaut. Play the prompt, not the vote. The tier list ranks Chaos C for skill nights and S for parties. If you get a Classic tagger body inside Chaos, cut like a tagger. If you get a crown, keepaway. Do not invent a new objective.
Toxic
Toxic players lose HP every second. Tag a runner to swap the toxic role onto them. When a toxic dies, they become dead and a random runner becomes the new toxic. Last runner wins. The mode sat in private servers, crashed April Fools 2025 as a joke card, then returned as a regular mode in 2026.
Play toxic like Bomb with a bleed instead of a fuse. Standing still is death. Swapping into a runner who just used a fall swing buys you the most clock. Runners should not 1v1 a toxic in a closet; make them climb.
Slasher
Lights drop. Survivor vision shrinks. Slashers need to finish survivors (chip lives, not a single Classic swap). Survivors win on time if anyone is left. Haunted Slasher is the spooky misprint. Combat Initiation’s DNA is obvious; the 2024 collab also shipped Initiation and CI Crossroads.
Slashers: isolate, do not parade. Survivors: stay near a teammate who can actually see, and refuse mansion dead ends. This is B-tier on the mode list because horror and lives dilute parkour — still a great event night.
Juggernaut (and Hunter)
A few juggernauts versus a pack of hunters. Juggernaut health decays; tagging hunters restores based on what the victim had. Juggernaut swings can hit multiple hunters. Hunters chip the tank; damage ramps as hunter count drops. Dead juggernauts become hunters; dead hunters stay dead. Time out: remaining juggernauts win. All tanks down: hunters win.
Juggernauts: farm, do not sightseeing. Hunters: hit-and-leave, do not 1v1 a full-HP tank on a Rocket Arena pad. Bloxxed and Infinite Juggernaut misprints change the numbers. B-tier mode, A-tier spectacle.
King in Initiation
The Combat Initiation collab (August 2024) added Initiation and CI Crossroads. Hunters (taggers with lives) try to eliminate the King. The King is a health-pool boss, sometimes doubled in the limited Bloxxer server. This is a private-server and event toy more than a public rank mode. Play it on CI Crossroads when you want a boss fight, then go back to Classic to remember what tag feels like.
How to practise kits without frying your Classic
Use a 10 Robux private server: set the mode, keep the map on Crossroads or Glass Houses, and run one kit for ten minutes. Public Chaos is a pop quiz, not a lesson. After you can pass a bomb without staring, steal a crown without camping, and thaw a frozen without dying, return to the Players Hub and vote S-tier modes on S-tier maps. Redeem codes between drills.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
Does tagging always swap roles?
No. Classic, Bomb, Crown, and Toxic swap. Infected and Team Swap convert. FFA, Slasher downs, and Initiation eliminate. Check the gamemodes guide.
Who wins Crown if the crown player leaves?
A random peasant inherits the crown. The round does not void. If you are a peasant, stay ready to steal the replacement.
Should I thaw in Freeze or keep running?
Thaw. Frozen teammates decay into chillers who will hunt you. A runner who never thaws is playing Classic in the wrong mode. See runner.
What is the difference between Chaos and misprints?
Chaos mixes roles from many modes in one round. A misprint twists a single mode (Hot Potato, Mutant Infected, Speed Classic). Both are C-tier for rank nights.
Where did King and Initiation come from?
The August 2024 Combat Initiation collab, with CI Crossroads. Details on events. Treat King as a boss, not as Classic tag.
