Redeem untitled tag game codes

untitled tag game hides its promo box inside the shop, not on a title-screen overlay. If you mash Q looking for a Codes button, you will only open the pause menu. The reliable paths are the shop key, the mobile shop control, and the utg://codes address. This page walks each path, then covers the four failure modes that waste the most time: extra spaces, wrong case, expired strings, and codes you already claimed.

The live list of working strings sits on the Codes Hub. Dead strings belong on Expired Codes. Do not mix the two while you test the menu.

Before you open the shop

Join the recode place (untitled tag game on Roblox), not the 2021 Legacy place. Wait until your character loads into a lobby. Codes redeem on your account, so you do not need a 40-player public server, but you do need a fully loaded client. If you are still on the Roblox loading bar, the shop key does nothing useful.

Have the code copied from a trusted list. The menu does not autocomplete. You will paste or type one string at a time. High-value coin codes (ROBLOX_RTC, THANKYOU, 100M, HALLOWSISCOMING, HAPPY4YEARS) are worth doing first so a disconnect cannot interrupt the big grants. Cosmetic codes (THEOTHERTAG, PRIDE) can wait a minute. SEEYOUSOON should wait until you are ready to be teleported into the First to the Token quest.

PC and console: B, then Codes

1. Press B to open the shop. That is the same shop that sells trails, emotes, and skins.
2. Switch to the Codes tab. It is a sibling of the catalog, not a separate Roblox prompt.
3. Click the input, paste the string, and confirm.
4. Watch for a success toast and a coin tick, or for a cosmetic to appear.
5. Press I if you need inventory to equip a trail or outfit. Press B again or Q to leave.

Keyboard movement still uses W to run once you close the shop. Do not hold C (slide/roll) while the shop is open; you can close the UI into a slide you did not want. VR and console use the platform’s confirm button on the same shop widget. If your bind set moved the shop off B, open Q and check settings, or jump via utg://shop then Codes.

Mobile and tablet: on-screen shop

Mobile does not have a physical B key. Use the on-screen shop button (the bag/store control on the HUD), then open Codes. Tagging on mobile is tap-to-tag, and slide is an on-screen control, so do not rest a thumb on slide while you type. Paste from the clipboard if your device allows it; typing UPUPDOWNDOWNLEFTRIGHTLEFTRIGHTBASTART by hand is how most mobile mistypes happen.

If the HUD is crowded in a chase, step into a quiet corner or a private server before you redeem. You can still be tagged while the shop is open on public servers. A 10 Robux private server is overkill for codes, but it is the calmest place to paste a long string.

The utg://codes jump

untitled tag game exposes internal menu pages as utg:// addresses. utg://codes opens the redeem field directly. Related pages you may want after a grant:

• utg://shop — catalog for trails, emotes, skins
• utg://inventory — equip what you just unlocked (I is the key bind)
• utg://leaderboard — not required for codes
• utg://settings — only if a bind is wrong

Type the address in the in-game menu prompt the client provides; it is not a browser URL. Pasting utg://codes into Chrome will not redeem anything. If the jump fails, fall back to B then Codes. The Tools Hub keeps the full utg:// cheatsheet.

Troubleshooting

Extra spaces and hidden characters

Discord and wiki tables love trailing spaces. A code that looks identical to THANKYOU can still fail if a newline rode along on the clipboard. Paste into the field, backspace once at the end, and delete any leading gap. /E FREE is the exception that does contain a space; do not strip that one down to /EFREE.

Case

Every code on the Codes Hub is listed in the case the menu expects. Thankyou, thankyou, and THANKYOU (trailing space) are three different failures. PRIDE is all caps. SEPT2022 mixes letters and digits. 8ACE00 starts with a digit.

Expired

If the menu says the code is invalid and your typing is clean, it is probably dead. SORRY (once 750 coins) is the high-value trap people still share. Aggregator leftovers such as karell, frog, SubtoPoliswaggs, Murm, YOCHAT, 4122, CodeUpdate!, and TipBoard also fail. Confirm on Expired Codes and stop retrying. Repeating a dead code does not queue a grant.

Already claimed

Codes are once per account. A second redeem on the same Roblox user returns an already-redeemed or invalid state. Alts do not share claims with your main; that is a separate account, not a second claim on the same wallet. If you are sure you never typed HAPPY4YEARS and it still refuses, you may have claimed it months ago during the anniversary window.

Wrong place

The recode demo opened 26 December 2023 and was renamed from [recode] untitled tag game on 24 March 2025. Codes on this wiki target place 14044547200. Typing them in Legacy 8365905206 wastes a trip.

After a successful redeem

Coins land on the account total you see in the shop. There is no separate codes wallet. Spend them on a trail if you are learning routes; a bright trail makes vaults and wallruns easier to review. Equip cosmetics in inventory (I). Emotes sit on G.

If you redeemed SEEYOUSOON, expect a teleport into First to the Token. Finish that objective or accept that you left your previous lobby. Do not spam the code trying to cancel the teleport.

If nothing visible changed, reopen the shop, confirm the coin count moved, then reopen inventory. Client lag can delay a cosmetic icon by a few seconds. If the count did not move and the string is on the active list, leave the experience and rejoin once, then try a different active code to prove the menu still works.

A redeem order that wastes less time

1. Open utg://codes or B then Codes.
2. Paste the 500-coin set.
3. Paste the 250-coin set, including BOMBPLUSHIE.
4. Paste the 150 and 100-coin leftovers, typing /E FREE by hand if paste strips the slash.
5. Redeem THEOTHERTAG and PRIDE.
6. Redeem SEEYOUSOON last, only when you want the quest teleport.
7. If any row fails, check Expired Codes once, then stop.

Make a habit of redeeming after a patch, then immediately opening inventory to confirm the coin ticker moved before you leave the shop. That single glance is cheaper than wondering an hour later whether UTGBOT actually landed.
